The study findings, which involved 27 patients treated with tapering doses of dexamethasone over 5–10 days. Most patients showed symptom improvement within 2.8 days, with no reported complications from steroid use. As the third clinical study supporting this treatment approach, the findings highlight the importance of timing and dosage in steroid efficacy. The authors call for larger clinical trials to further validate these results.
